- Have 5–8+ years of professional SEO experience, including 3–5+ years in an SEO Manager or comparable leadership role.
- Bring hands-on experience across technical SEO and content SEO.
- Have owned an SEO roadmap from prioritization and execution through reporting, optimization, and iteration.
- Have hands-on experience with AEO and/or GEO and understand how AI is changing search and content discovery.
- Have practical experience using AirOps or a similar AI-powered SEO/content workflow tool.
- Have technical SEO capabilities in site architecture, crawl optimization, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup.
- Have content-strategy experience in keyword research, topic clustering, editorial prioritization, and content briefs.
- Have experience managing and developing an SEO team, including delegation, coaching, work review, priority setting, and performance accountability.
- Have strong analytical and reporting capabilities, connecting organic-search performance to business outcomes and translating data into recommendations.
- Have professional English proficiency and the ability to work effectively in a distributed international environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the SEO and AEO roadmap, including priorities, timelines, KPIs, execution, reporting, and continuous optimization.
- Assess existing organic-search initiatives, identify opportunities, and establish scalable processes.
- Develop content strategy through keyword research, topic clustering, editorial prioritization, and content briefs.
- Lead technical SEO initiatives covering site architecture, crawl optimization, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and search accessibility.
- Build AEO practices to improve how the organization is understood, surfaced, and cited across AI-powered search experiences.
- Lead, coach, and develop the SEO team by setting priorities, clarifying ownership, reviewing work, and creating accountability.
- Use performance data and reporting to connect organic-search activity with business outcomes and recommend next steps.
- Adapt SEO and AEO strategies as search behavior, AI technologies, and ranking and discovery mechanisms evolve.
- Collaborate with marketing and other stakeholders to support broader business priorities.
