Requirements
- Completed commercial training or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience independently processing payroll.
- Sound knowledge of German wage tax law.
- Sound knowledge of German social insurance law.
- Experience using payroll systems; SAP experience is preferred.
- Work independently, accurately, and reliably.
- Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and perseverance.
- Good German skills, spoken and written.
- English language skills are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to payroll projects and work with other departments to develop solutions and improve processes.
- Advise clients on payroll matters and explain complex issues clearly.
- Help implement HR software solutions and analyze and optimize existing payroll processes.
- Independently process payroll for a defined group of employees.
- Ensure payroll is accurate and timely and complies with tax, social insurance, and labor law requirements.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees with questions about payroll, wage tax, and social insurance.
- Clarify payroll questions with internal departments, including HR and financial accounting.
