Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of professional software development experience in full-stack or backend engineering.
- Bring senior-level experience with Java and Spring Boot as a primary backend skill set.
- Have hands-on experience with Python and Django.
- Be proficient with React.
- Have production experience with Apache Kafka and GraphQL.
- Have strong SQL or MongoDB database experience.
- Have practical exposure to at least one of Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
- Have experience collaborating with Product Managers and GTM teams on technical backlogs and client requests.
- Use log analytics and system metrics to troubleshoot production issues.
- Have hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.
- Have experience with build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployments.
- Be able to take end-to-end ownership and navigate ambiguous technical issues independently.
- Demonstrate good connectivity to an AWS WorkSpace region by completing the connectivity test and submitting a screenshot with the application.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, triage, and resolve production incidents and client support requests across frontend and backend systems.
- Partner with client-facing support and GTM teams to resolve high-priority alerts and ticket escalations within SLAs.
- Monitor production health dashboards and respond to outages, latency degradation, and feature failures.
- Maintain and refactor event logic across Java/Spring Boot microservices, Python/Django services, and React interfaces.
- Use distributed data workflows, queries, and analytics tools to investigate production issues.
- Manage code build, merge, and deployment pipelines to release hotfixes and platform updates.
- Support system integrations and architectural updates affecting live event services.
- Mentor and onboard engineering team members.
