Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree.
- Have direct experience teaching AP Calculus AB and/or BC.
- Have strong working knowledge of College Board scoring rubrics and the AP Calculus exam format.
- A master's degree is preferred.
- Experience teaching AP Calculus in a virtual or online setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach AP Calculus AB and/or BC remotely to a small class of students.
- Deliver 2–3 hours of live instruction each week during the academic year.
- Guide students through free-response and multiple-choice problem sets covering limits, derivatives, integrals, and, for BC, series.
- Create asynchronous learning activities and assignments to help students stay on pace and complete AP course content and required components.
- Use the LMS, College Board resources, and Zoom to deliver lessons.
- Deliver instruction using personal teaching methods and materials within the official AP Calculus Course and Exam Description (CED).
