Requirements
- Have experience with at least one native mobile platform: Android or iOS.
- Have strong experience building production Flutter apps.
- Understand state management, navigation, and asynchronous programming in Flutter.
- Be able to architect maintainable mobile codebases.
- Have experience taking mobile features from idea to release, including clarifying requirements and exploring solutions.
- Have experience building and testing mobile features and working with CI/CD workflows.
- Be able to ship updates to the App Store and Google Play.
- Be comfortable integrating mobile apps with backend APIs and cloud services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and performant code that other engineers can understand and extend.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and maintain Grafana’s mobile application.
- Own the reliability, performance, and availability of the application.
- Work with the team to deliver new features and use results to iterate and improve.
- Drive projects from initial ideation through operations after customer release.
- Contribute to open-source projects beyond the team’s direct scope.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotations and take ownership of the application.
- Mentor and support team members and participate in design discussions.
- Collaborate with the team to learn the cloud product, customers, and codebase of a large distributed system.
