Requirements
- Have worked around venture capital as an analyst, scout, at an accelerator, or in a role close to deals.
- Be able to name rounds from this year that you found interesting.
- Write short, specific messages to strangers that earn replies.
- Maintain a high pace without letting quality slip.
- Follow a process without needing reminders.
- Understand round stages and check sizes.
- Understand SAFE versus priced rounds and why an investor passes.
- Use AI tools daily with clear judgment about where they improve work and where they could compromise quality.
- Treat discretion as second nature; do not include investor names in your application.
Responsibilities
- Research who is investing, what they invest in, and their preferred stages and check sizes.
- Write initial messages to family offices, angels and early-stage funds.
- Turn investor replies into calls.
- Book qualified investors into meetings with founders whose opportunities fit their interests.
- Keep the investor network current and qualified.
