Requirements
- Master degree.
- 5+ years’ experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Perl, or Python and open-source technologies such as Apache and Hadoop.
- Excellent machine learning engineering skills with Python, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe, Pandas, SciPy, OpenCV, and Scikit-Learn.
- Experience with predictive modeling, recommendation systems, translation engines, or conversational AI.
- Academic and/or industry experience with standard AI and ML techniques, NLU, and scientific thinking.
- 5+ years’ experience with object-oriented design and common design patterns.
- 5+ years’ experience with data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
- 3+ years’ experience developing cloud software services and understanding design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs.
- Experience working effectively with science, data processing, and software engineering teams.
- Experience with RDBMS databases such as MariaDB, MySQL, and Postgres; SQL; and NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, BASH, and Git.
- Fluent in English.
- Able to work normal office hours of Geneva, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative research using advanced statistical learning methods to build models for forecasting stock risk and returns.
- Build efficient tools and scalable systems for the team.
- Generate ideas, conduct back-end testing, and implement solutions.
- Evaluate new datasets for potential inclusion in machine learning models.
- Design and deliver machine learning models and services supporting the Learning Experience Platform and its components.
- Build core and support systems for the learning platform and develop features.
- Maintain core and support systems by updating source code and allied repositories.
- Develop technical documentation and maintain active technical repositories.
