Requirements
- Have 5+ years building frontend for real products, including complex single-page applications with real users.
- Bring expert TypeScript skills and deep experience with a modern framework; Angular is preferred, while strong React or Vue engineers willing to work in Angular are welcome.
- Understand component architecture, state management, rendering performance, responsive design, and visual detail.
- Write tests, including end-to-end tests with Cypress or Playwright.
- Be able to read and modify a Java service, design APIs from the consumer's perspective, and write competent SQL.
- Understand how API shape affects round-trips, data flow, and perceived UI latency.
- Have shipped production code with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Cursor, while maintaining quality.
- Work independently in a distributed, async team across 12+ countries.
- Be fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Own complex, data-dense dashboards, monitoring views, large tables, diffs, and drill-downs.
- Drive component architecture, state management, and frontend performance.
- Build with a component library and Storybook, maintaining a coherent design system.
- Write tests at every layer and help keep the Cypress end-to-end suite meaningful.
- Build interfaces for agentic features where users direct, review, and act on LLM-powered workflows.
- Improve frontend conventions, Storybook coverage, and tests for agentic development.
- Shape consumed APIs and implement Java backend changes when features require them.
- Mentor backend-focused engineers on frontend development.
- Work with product, design, and customers to decide what to build.
