Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional experience.
- Have at least 5 years of SAP Basis administration experience supporting large enterprise SAP environments.
- Have hands-on experience administering SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SCM, SAP EWM, and SAP NetWeaver environments.
- Have experience with SAP transport management.
- Have experience with SAP upgrades, support packs, and patching.
- Have experience with performance monitoring and tuning.
- Have experience with system refreshes and client copies.
- Have experience with backup and recovery processes.
- Have experience supporting SAP security administration.
- Have experience coordinating operating system and database support.
- Understand incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Be able to support production systems and participate in after-hours support when required.
Responsibilities
- Administer SAP environments including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SCM, SAP EWM, SAP BTP, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Data Services.
- Perform SAP installations, upgrades, enhancement packages, support packs, kernel upgrades, and system refreshes.
- Manage transports and technical changes across SAP landscapes.
- Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and health, and troubleshoot complex Basis incidents.
- Maintain SCM and EWM system performance, integrations, background processing, and technical operations.
- Manage system copies, client copies, environment refreshes, background jobs, spool administration, and RFC connectivity.
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning, backup validation, recovery testing, and business continuity activities.
- Support SAP security, audits, compliance initiatives, SAP GRC integrations, and access governance.
- Support S/4HANA migration and modernization activities, including technical assessments, cutovers, and go-live support.
- Advise project teams and stakeholders, mentor junior team members, and drive operational improvements.
