Job Details

Bring expertise in modern DevOps tools and AWS capabilities.
Be able to maintain a high-quality deployment using automation and monitoring.
Be able to identify and investigate system anomalies before they become problems.
Be able to diagnose production issues and investigate root causes.
Combine strategic judgment with hands-on execution to guide the next stage of cloud infrastructure.
Understand how cloud tools and capabilities can support efficiency, manageability, performance, and reliability.
Show empathy for clients and end-users.
Be willing to participate in weekly client-support shifts and work directly with clients.
Experience working with all-remote teams is a nice to have.
Experience with Django, MySQL, and Ansible is a nice to have.
Experience with AWS VPCs, ELBs, SQS, auto-scaling groups, and multi-zone deployments is a nice to have.

Maintain production systems and help sustain high uptime.
Build and maintain deployment automation and monitoring.
Investigate unusual system behavior before it becomes a problem.
Diagnose incidents and identify their root causes.
Lead the next stage of the migration from on-premises servers to AWS.
Evaluate AWS tools and capabilities for efficiency, manageability, performance, and reliability.
Help set the technical direction for cloud infrastructure.
Take a weekly shift answering client support tickets.
Work directly with clients and consider the needs of clients and end-users.
