Requirements
- Hold a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) credential or be a PA-C who specializes in psychiatry.
- Have an active, unrestricted license in Tennessee, Texas, California, Maryland, Florida, Virginia, Connecticut, and/or Colorado.
- Have pediatric psychiatric experience.
- Collaborative Care Model, integrated care, or telepsychiatry experience is a plus.
- Work in a consultative, team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with behavioral health care managers and PCPs to review patient caseloads and provide treatment recommendations.
- Conduct weekly or biweekly systematic caseload reviews to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans.
- Provide indirect psychiatric consultation on diagnostic clarification, psychopharmacologic treatment options, and complex cases.
- Ensure adherence to measurement-based care, including PHQ-9, GAD-7, and other standardized tools.
- Be available for scheduled and ad-hoc PCP consultation.
- Document consultations and recommendations in the Triplemoon electronic health record.
- Stay current with best practices and evolving guidelines in integrated behavioral health.
