Requirements
- Hold a relevant qualification at Level 3 or above in sports studies or a closely related subject area.
- Have current or recent teaching experience at Level 3 or above in a sports studies-related subject, or significant recent occupational experience within the sector.
- Understand effective quality assurance and assessment processes.
- Be able to work consistently within tight deadlines.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Mark external assessments for the Level 1/2 Technical Award in Sports Studies.
- Submit results throughout the summer 2027 marking window.
- Follow and maintain the standard set by the Chief Examiner.
- Apply the mark scheme consistently and accurately.
- Report suspected malpractice or safeguarding concerns to the Assessment Delivery team.
- Attend examiner standardisation and other meetings as required.
- Maintain the confidentiality of assessment materials, learner evidence, and learner details.
- Report breaches of confidentiality to the Assessment Delivery team.
