Requirements
- Bring 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Have advanced expertise in Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Have experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Have experience with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure.
- Know RESTful API design and implementation.
- Understand object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software testing strategies.
- Have knowledge of database design, SQLAlchemy or Django ORM, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Have experience implementing secure programming practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Be proficient with Git-based development workflows and software development lifecycle management.
- Have experience leading teams and mentoring developers in a consulting or technical environment.
- Familiarity with trunk-based development, feature flags, application observability, and instrumentation is preferred.
- Knowledge of DevOps and continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins, Harness, GitLab CI/CD, AWS Lambda, or Terraform is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of software solutions using Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to developers.
- Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives and align technical solutions with project needs.
- Guide teams in software engineering best practices, architecture principles, Agile methodologies, and secure development practices.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain standards for code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and engineering approaches that can improve project outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement across teams, projects, delivery processes, and technical practices.
