Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience.
- Have over 5 years of experience with data and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft tools or other BI platforms.
- Be proficient in TSQL, data modeling, and reporting with Power BI or similar tools.
- Have experience designing comprehensive Power BI reports with interactive features, drilldowns, and nested parameters.
- Demonstrate expertise in creating dynamic measures with advanced DAX.
- Know how to create data mashups and transformations using Power Query/M.
- Have hands-on experience with Databricks for developing and streamlining data workflows.
- Be able to select appropriate visualizations and design interactive report interfaces.
- Be skilled in gathering requirements and conducting focus groups to improve business processes.
- Be available to work the stated shift from 5pm to 2am.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients in discovery meetings to identify reporting needs.
- Advise clients on Power BI licensing options and explain their benefits and limitations.
- Develop efficient star schema data models, including calculated columns and measures.
- Build Power BI solutions using data from diverse sources, including reports, dashboards, and data elements using DAX and source queries.
- Support deployment of Power BI solutions to the Power BI service, including gateways, DirectQuery, data flows, and data refreshes.
