Requirements
- Have at least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bring strong backend and product engineering experience.
- Be proficient in TypeScript and Node.js, including building production backend services, APIs, and scalable data pipelines.
- Have experience building complex AI applications using LLMs, machine learning, or data-driven product features beyond basic chatbots or retrieval applications.
- Have experience connecting to data sources such as SQL databases, data warehouses, or APIs, and building data-driven products or agents.
- Have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker, CI/CD, testing, and production engineering practices.
- Have strong computer science fundamentals and a background in computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Have product-minded experience building from inception through iteration; high-velocity startup experience is preferred.
- Understand data security, privacy, and compliance when working with customer data.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly prototype and evaluate AI product concepts for data and marketing workflows.
- Collaborate with a small team to develop and ship product ideas from early exploration through production.
- Choose suitable AI architectures, frameworks, and models, and assess where LLMs are effective.
- Build production data agents that use company data to answer analytics and data science questions.
- Understand user workflows and create AI-assisted product experiences.
