Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in test automation.
- Bring deep expertise in Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Write clean, maintainable test code in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Have experience building and scaling automation frameworks from scratch, including patterns such as Page Object Model or Screenplay.
- Have extensive experience testing RESTful and GraphQL APIs with tools such as Postman, SuperTest, or RestAssured.
- Have hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Mobile automation experience with Appium or Maestro is an advantage.
- Familiarity with k6 or JMeter for performance testing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Docker, visual regression testing tools, cloud testing platforms, or OWASP security testing principles is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define the overall automation roadmap and select tools suited to the client's technical stack.
- Write, maintain, and optimize end-to-end, integration, and regression test suites.
- Partner with developers and product managers to define the Definition of Done.
- Ensure testability is considered during the design phase.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Work with the development team to resolve defects rapidly.
- Review test scripts and share automated testing best practices.
