Requirements
- Have 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience managing enterprise Microsoft Azure environments.
- Have experience across Azure compute, networking, including VNets, ExpressRoute, and Application Gateways, and storage tiers.
- Demonstrate advanced mastery of Terraform or Bicep for provisioning automation, drift detection, and state management across multi-subscription environments.
- Have a track record building, securing, and scaling Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
- Be experienced with ingress controllers and deploying applications using Helm charts.
- Have deep proficiency building automated pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Have experience implementing automated security scanning, policy compliance, and zero-downtime releases.
- Understand cloud security governance using Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, and role-based access control (RBAC) under a Zero Trust model.
- Have experience configuring monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, or third-party platforms such as Datadog or Dynatrace.
- Be located in the CET timezone (+/- 3 hours).
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep.
- Maintain modular infrastructure-as-code libraries and state management workflows.
- Provision, patch, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
- Manage AKS autoscaling, ingress routing, and service mesh policies.
- Design, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Enforce Azure Policy guardrails and audit IAM roles through Microsoft Entra ID.
- Manage secret rotation in Azure Key Vault and mitigate vulnerabilities identified by Defender for Cloud.
- Monitor system metrics, respond to infrastructure incidents, and conduct root-cause analyses.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization to improve cost efficiency.
