Job Details

Have 2+ years of experience managing engineers and a sustained passion for leading and growing a team.
Bring a track record of shipping products or major features and owning the results.
Have a strong technical background and be able to read code, review designs, and reason about architecture and tradeoffs.
Be proficient with Go or ready to ramp up quickly.
Have experience building CI/CD systems, developer tooling, or product-facing platforms.
Be familiar with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
Have experience with AI tooling and enthusiasm for applying it to complex customer problems.
Be comfortable with autonomy and ambiguity, show a bias for action, and ship iteratively.
Bring strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with Product and customers.

Own the Guardener, hardened GitHub Actions, Chainguard Agent Skills, and emerging microVM-based products from roadmap through implementation, rollout, and iteration.
Hire, lead, and grow a small team of engineers, removing blockers and enabling them to do their best work.
Review designs and pull requests, prototype when useful, and remain technically hands-on.
Partner with Product to set a roadmap, prioritize tradeoffs, and ship iteratively against deadlines.
Navigate ambiguous problems and take initiative to find a clear path forward.
Own the quality and reliability of shipped products.
Stay close to customers and incorporate their feedback into the roadmap.
