Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, IT services, or infrastructure architecture.
  • Experience designing, building, and managing large-scale distributed systems and services.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Expertise in system architecture principles, including service-oriented architectures (SOA), microservices, and RESTful API design.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, and automation tools.
  • Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, and Datadog.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define the architectural roadmap for DevOps infrastructure and processes.
  • Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable, and secure software releases.
  • Evaluate and implement DevOps tools and technologies to automate tasks and improve reliability.
  • Apply SRE principles, including defining SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
  • Design monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Address performance bottlenecks and implement capacity planning, load balancing, and caching strategies.
  • Integrate security practices into the DevOps lifecycle and collaborate with security teams on compliance.
  • Design disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis, and implement preventative measures.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers on DevOps practices and architecture.
