Requirements
- Have a BS, MS, Ph.D., or equivalent, plus 8 years of experience.
- Code proficiently in multiple or unfamiliar programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
- Have experience architecting intricate, high-scale patterns in AWS.
- Have experience architecting repeatable CI/CD workflows; GitLab is preferred.
- Hold AWS Cloud Certification(s) at the Associate level.
- Be able to understand, debug, and explain complex distributed systems.
- Demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills.
- Manage time effectively across competing projects.
- Training in secure coding practices is preferred.
- AWS Professional-level certification, GCP or Azure experience, public-company experience, and open-source contributions or technical blog experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and plan future prevention for production incidents.
- Design globally distributed systems and processes for the organization.
- Identify deficiencies in applications and infrastructure and correct them.
- Define solutions to complex technical problems and share them with teammates.
- Make significant technology contributions, including work that may result in patents, trade secrets, publications, or presentations.
- Translate KnowBe4's strategic goals into operational plans.
- Coordinate across functional boundaries.
- Lead larger sub-projects or entire small projects when needed.
