Job Details

Have 5+ years of senior-level professional software development experience.
Bring hands-on experience working with trading or market data, including stocks, options, futures, crypto, or prediction markets.
Have strong experience with real-time data processing.
Have production systems experience in Python or Rust.
Show a track record of building reliable, unattended systems with robust error handling, monitoring, and failure recovery.
Be able to make architectural and technology decisions independently.
Demonstrate ownership and self-direction in a small, fully remote team.
Be ready to take responsibility for urgent production issues when they arise.
Have excellent English communication skills.
Discord bot development experience is a plus.
Experience with NautilusTrader or a similar algorithmic trading engine is a plus.
Experience with the Interactive Brokers API or other broker integrations is a plus.
Experience with payment, subscription, or commission tooling, including refunds, chargebacks, and access control, is a plus.

Design and build the internal algorithmic trading system for stocks, options, and futures via Interactive Brokers.
Ensure the trading system runs reliably unattended, with strong error handling, monitoring, and recovery.
Extend the system into prediction markets and digital asset trading on 24-hour markets.
Convert raw trading and market data into clear, visual signals that customers can act on.
Develop internal automations for business operations, such as adjusting sales commissions after refunds and chargebacks.
Build Discord community management bots and automations that revoke access for non-paying customers on time.
Work directly with the company's owner to decide architecture, technology choices, and priorities.
Take end-to-end ownership of systems from architecture and deployment to incident response.
Collaborate with a small non-engineering team to automate sales and community workflows.
