Job Details

Currently enrolled in a degree or education program working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Be on track to graduate by June 2029.
Demonstrate understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
Have experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C++.
Be familiar with relevant frameworks, tools, or technologies such as React or similar; technical requirements vary by team.
Have non-academic coding experience, such as hackathons, code challenges, personal projects, GitHub, open source, volunteer coding, or conference participation.
Be familiar with using AI as a learning, productivity, and engineering tool and as an iterative coding partner.
Exercise judgment around AI accuracy and security, including knowing when to ask for help.
Be willing to learn continuously and work through ambiguity.

Execute scoped technical tasks end to end to help build Pinterest technologies, features, and tools.
Deliver code that is well documented, tested, and operable.
Use AI tools in the engineering workflow to brainstorm approaches, write and refine code, and produce documentation.
Collaborate with mentors, managers, peers, product, design, data, and backend engineers.
Contribute to real projects that impact Pinterest.
Demonstrate accountability and quality while receiving guidance from mentors, managers, and peers.
