Requirements
- Have 1 to 2 years of experience using R and RStudio for data management.
- Have experience with R packages, including the tidyverse.
- Have 1 to 2 years of experience cleaning and wrangling data.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience, in statistics, social sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience with survey data or large complex datasets is a plus.
- Experience with GitHub or databases is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Write R syntax to process survey data using questionnaires, variable names, and descriptive labels.
- Run test survey data through syntax to identify discrepancies between instrument specifications and programmed surveys.
- Clean and recode project sample frames.
- Troubleshoot syntax issues and errors and implement solutions.
- Create, maintain, and use documentation of data management processes.
- Perform basic statistical operations and data manipulation or transformation.
- Explain code and technical concepts in depth to team members.
- Review teammates’ code and output for potential errors.
