Requirements
- Have 5+ years of software development experience building scalable systems.
- Have strong computer science fundamentals, supported by a computer science degree or distinctive software development experience.
- Have strong TypeScript, React, and Next.js experience, including understanding modern React rendering and server versus client components.
- Be able to design SQL schemas and write server-side TypeScript.
- Have Python and Django experience as a plus.
- Bring a sharp eye for UI and confidence proposing design ideas.
- Show strong focus on product execution and delivery.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and focus on quality and long-term goals.
- Use AI coding tools daily and exercise judgment in checking their work.
- Be willing to change Kubernetes and Terraform configuration when features require it.
- Demonstrate guidance, mentorship, and support for others.
- Show initiative, decision-making, and consistent delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own each project end-to-end, including the data model, UI, backend, release, and post-launch support.
- Shape projects before contract signing by drafting plans, scoping work, and agreeing on APIs and integrations with client teams.
- Build interactive tools such as product configurators, drawing tools, in-store displays, and experiences embedded in client websites.
- Collaborate with the designer to propose improvements and refine product details.
- Build products powered by generative AI.
- Work across apps and services, including code owned by other teams.
- Turn one-off apps into products that serve multiple clients.
- Set up tests, lint rules, and agent instructions for safely shipping AI-written code.
- Ship weekly, run products in production, and check usage.
- Review code, mentor others, document decisions, and participate in hiring.
