Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of commercial full-stack application development experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Python.
- Have deep knowledge of React.js, including hooks, lifecycle methods, and established architectural patterns.
- Have experience building applications with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Have experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Have experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Be proficient with Git and application build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, NPM, or Yarn.
- Bring analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
- TypeScript, server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js, front-end or Python testing, and WCAG knowledge are listed as nice-to-haves.
- Azure, CI/CD, Docker, and experience with data-analysis projects or R are listed as nice-to-haves.
Responsibilities
- Create responsive user interfaces using React.js and modern front-end technologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain Python backend services, APIs, and business logic.
- Design modular, scalable UI components and reusable software libraries.
- Integrate the visual layer with RESTful or GraphQL services and optimize asynchronous data flows.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases, focusing on performance, throughput, and data consistency.
- Audit and optimize front-end and backend code for performance.
- Write clean, tested JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python code.
- Participate in Agile team activities, including sprint planning, code review, and daily stand-ups.
