Requirements
- Have 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Bring strong Java and/or Kotlin skills.
- Have experience with Spring Boot and microservice architectures.
- Know Kafka or another event-streaming or messaging platform.
- Have experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Know SQL and PostgreSQL or another relational database.
- Have experience with Docker and CI/CD.
- Have experience with production systems and incident or failure handling.
- Have good English.
- Be able to work independently and take technical ownership.
- Commercial experience in banking, investment banking, capital markets, or another regulated financial environment is an advantage.
- Experience with high-throughput or latency-sensitive systems is an advantage.
- Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or observability tools is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Build backend services using Java and/or Kotlin.
- Develop Spring Boot-based microservices and APIs.
- Build event-driven and distributed systems.
- Develop high-volume transactional and data-processing services.
- Create integration layers connecting internal and external financial systems.
- Develop services where consistency, resilience, and auditability are critical.
- Design production-ready systems for scale, high availability, and observability.
- Develop technical solutions with senior engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
