Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 5-7 years of relevant experience, or 7-10 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.
- Have hands-on SAP EWM configuration and troubleshooting experience.
- Hold SAP EWM certification, or obtain it within 6 months of hire.
- Have a background or education in logistics, distribution, MIS, IT, or a related field.
- Have deep knowledge of SAP logistics modules and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Be able to train and mentor team members and client users.
- Be able to manage multiple support tickets, prioritize urgent issues, and stay organized.
- Have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and a meticulous approach to configuration and issue resolution.
- Travel up to 25-50% to client sites for onsite go-live and hypercare support.
- Experience with multiple full-lifecycle SAP EWM implementations, including embedded or decentralized EWM on S/4HANA, is preferred.
- Experience with Material Flow System (MFS), labor management, or yard management is preferred.
- Ability to read and debug ABAP code is preferred.
- Experience with the Department of Defense or another federal agency is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead hypercare initiatives in the initial weeks following SAP EWM implementations.
- Own assigned client EWM support workstreams, including ticket prioritization, service-level performance, and status reporting.
- Escalate complex and high-impact issues, including cross-module issues, and lead root cause analysis for critical incidents.
- Coach and mentor EWM Support Consultants I, II, and III.
- Design and oversee configuration of enhancements and permanent fixes, partnering with development teams on custom solutions.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive initiatives to improve system stability.
- Develop and improve support procedures, troubleshooting standards, and documentation.
- Train end users and client personnel on EWM usage, workflows, business processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with client leadership, development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to maintain and enhance system performance.
- Oversee software updates and security patches.
