Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure Cloud Services.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
- Experience with DBT for data transformation.
- Experience with data modeling, ELT design, and performance tuning.
- Advanced English proficiency, spoken and written, to engage directly with international stakeholders.
- Proven experience mentoring and guiding technical teams through change.
- Snowflake certification is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with data governance and security is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a long-term data architecture vision aligned with business strategy.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of technologies, frameworks, and standards for implementing the data architecture.
- Establish and promote data management and governance best practices.
- Work with leadership teams and stakeholders to ensure the architecture meets business needs, explaining technical concepts accessibly.
- Identify complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Provide advanced technical guidance to data development and architecture teams.
- Ensure the data architecture complies with data security regulations and standards.
- Mentor team members and guide newer colleagues as they grow in their roles.
- Participate in defining and executing the organization's data strategy.
- Develop strategic relationships with technology partners and suppliers, and represent data architecture in technical and strategic forums.
