Requirements
- Bring hands-on experience in feature engineering and data engineering.
- Have experience deploying AI models using Databricks and Unity Catalog.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Have a strong background in data governance, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
- Be familiar with naming conventions and metadata standards.
- Understand scalable data architecture best practices.
- Feature Store certification (Fundamentals or Expert) and financial data experience are nice to have.
- Experience developing AI agents or agentic infrastructure, such as Mosaic AI Agent Framework, agent orchestration, or MCP, is nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer robust machine learning features on Databricks to power AI models and solve business challenges.
- Implement features with standard metadata, including description, keys, lineage, ownership, tags, and data lifecycle.
- Use scalable design patterns to maximize feature reusability across the organization.
- Follow deployment pipelines, including CI/CD, bundle validation, and PRD.
- Oversee job monitoring and apply FinOps practices to use cloud resources efficiently within Databricks.
- Maintain consistency between training and production environments.
- Maintain a single source of truth for ML models.
