Requirements
- Have professional experience in data engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Python.
- Have experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines and scalable data solutions.
- Understand data warehousing, architecture, data modeling, transformation, and integration.
- Be able to translate complex technical requirements into practical, scalable data engineering solutions.
- Have experience with technical troubleshooting, performance optimization, data quality, and production support.
- Have participated in technical design discussions, solution reviews, and code reviews.
- Have experience providing technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to data engineers.
- Be familiar with cloud-based data platforms and modern data stack technologies.
- Have experience with CI/CD, Git, and version-control practices for data engineering.
- Have experience working in Agile or structured software-development environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize data engineering solutions using Snowflake, dbt, Python, and ETL/ELT technologies.
- Build and optimize pipelines for ingestion, transformation, integration, reporting, and downstream data requirements.
- Design and implement data warehouse solutions aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Support data modeling, data quality, performance optimization, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Provide technical guidance to data engineers and establish consistent engineering standards and practices.
- Review data engineering solutions, code, and implementations to identify risks, dependencies, and challenges.
- Break complex requirements into manageable components and provide development estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and project stakeholders to align solutions with project requirements.
- Support technical escalations, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and delivery activities.
