Requirements
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 2 years on crypto, digital asset, or blockchain-based products.
- Experience writing detailed functional specifications for technical products such as API integrations, transaction systems, or payment flows.
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including major networks, stablecoins, transaction confirmation models, and network fees.
- Knowledge of crypto-specific compliance, including AML/KYT screening and the Travel Rule, and awareness of frameworks such as MiCA.
- Familiarity with API documentation, webhooks, idempotency, and asynchronous processing.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data mapping, process modeling, and edge-case analysis.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Own analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements for digital asset transaction flows.
- Produce functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for transaction lifecycles, account management, and third-party integrations.
- Document integration requirements for custody providers, financial infrastructure vendors, and payment processors, including API contracts, webhooks, and error handling.
- Map end-to-end transaction flows, including address generation, deposits, confirmations, withdrawals, screening, and reconciliation.
- Translate AML/KYT, Travel Rule, and jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements into functional requirements with Compliance and Legal.
- Define data requirements and reporting needs for reconciliation, monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
- Support Engineering by clarifying requirements, assessing change impact, and validating delivered functionality against specifications.
- Contribute to UAT planning and execution for platform updates, including vendor sandbox testing.
- Maintain product documentation in Confluence and manage requirements in Jira.
- Mentor other Business Analysts and contribute to specification standards.
