Requirements
- Hold a university degree in IT or a relevant discipline.
- Have a minimum of 12 years of relevant working experience.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in enterprise data architecture and platform assessment, including BI, data, and integration environments.
- Have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with enterprise relational databases and DWH, including SQL analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and data integration tools, including pipeline development, adaptation, and troubleshooting.
- Have at least 2 years of experience applying conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling, including 3NF, Data Vault, and dimensional/star-schema approaches.
- Have at least 1 year of experience involved in enterprise data/BI/DWH migrations.
- Have experience with metadata and cataloguing platforms for lineage and ownership, such as Collibra, Alation, Azure Purview, or OpenLineage.
- Have experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or Amazon Redshift.
- Hold TOGAF, CDMP, DAMA-DMBoK, an ISO data governance standards certification, or an equivalent certification.
- Have an excellent command of English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization’s data strategy and architecture aligned with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data architecture, models, and technical specifications.
- Design and manage data models, metadata, lineage, and data catalogs.
- Architect and integrate batch and real-time data pipelines across diverse sources and platforms.
- Establish and enforce data governance, quality, security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Design and deploy scalable cloud and hybrid data platforms, optimizing performance and cost.
- Implement data profiling, validation, cleansing, and lifecycle management processes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data platforms, pipelines, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with business leaders, engineers, and data scientists to deliver data solutions.
- Lead data architecture initiatives, mentor teams, and evaluate emerging technologies.
