Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of progressive experience in software development.
- Have at least 5+ years in engineering leadership roles leading software teams.
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrate a track record of delivering complex software products on time and within budget.
- Bring expertise in software development methodologies, modern architectures, and cloud technologies.
- Have experience leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Demonstrate experience implementing agile practices in an engineering organization.
- Have experience using AI tools and automation across the software development lifecycle, including AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Translate business goals into actionable technology strategies and balance technical considerations with business priorities.
- Familiarity with real estate industry concepts, processes, and technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set strategic vision and provide technical leadership for the engineering team, aligning technology initiatives with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering organization.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Champion AI-powered tools and automation across the SDLC, including AI-assisted code generation, automated code review, intelligent testing and QA, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with the company's long-term vision.
- Coordinate engineering efforts with product management, design, and operations teams.
- Promote agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Optimize personnel, infrastructure, and budget allocation to support project priorities and business objectives.
- Establish engineering standards, best practices, and quality control processes, and identify and mitigate project risks.
- Collaborate with executives, clients, partners, and other stakeholders to understand needs and align engineering with business objectives.
