Requirements
- Hold active independent clinical licensure: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC.
- Conduct thorough biopsychosocial intakes and clear diagnostic assessments.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Treat a diverse cohort of students with respect and understanding.
- Identify and manage escalating risk scenarios effectively.
- Have a laptop or desktop computer with a quality video camera and stable internet connection.
- Be available for a minimum of 8 hours per week during the academic year.
- Be able to flex hours up or down depending on student volumes.
- At least 4 hours of evening or weekend availability after 5:00 PM local time is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual therapy using evidence-based interventions, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Action and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
- Use the collaboration portal to connect with and support students.
- Work with campus treatment providers, supervisors, and peers to coordinate care.
- Maintain timely, precise records of clinical interactions.
- Partner with the administrative support team on student care, outreach, and resource provision.
- Collaborate with leadership during critical patient scenarios.
- Apply the care model to support college students and refine therapeutic practice.
