Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development or equivalent roles in the SAP space.
- Bring hands-on expertise in SAP HANA native modeling, including Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript.
- Have experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines in SAP environments.
- Be familiar with integrating SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or legacy systems into data workflows.
- Have expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scaling for large datasets.
- Have a strong understanding of data architecture principles and hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE and BW/4HANA tools.
- Be proficient in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- SAP BW experience, including InfoObjects, DSOs, Process Chains, and data transformations, is a plus.
- Manufacturing or engineering industry experience, including quality assurance or supply chain analytics, is a plus.
- Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models, including Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines sourcing data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable data flows and data architectures for analytics and operational reporting.
- Develop end-to-end data workflows and monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies.
- Work with frontend teams to enable real-time insights and dashboards through SAP Analytics Cloud and other visualization tools.
- Support business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and insights powered by SAP HANA.
- Optimize data processing performance for large datasets and complex workflows.
- Work with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in Agile (SAFe) sprints, planning, and retrospectives.
- Document and maintain technical best practices, processes, and knowledge for SAP HANA solutions.
