Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Have 2+ years of experience developing back ends for web apps using a common web framework.
- Bring strong experience with a high-level strongly typed programming language.
- Be familiar with back-end architecture, performance, and security best practices.
- Have experience with modern testing frameworks and testing best practices.
- Have experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for building, testing, and shipping code.
- Have experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Have advanced skills using AI coding agents.
- Be fluent in English.
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript is a nice-to-have.
- Experience developing modern web-app front ends with React is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with infrastructure as code is a nice-to-have.
- Experience shipping LLM features in a product and integrating a major model provider is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve features across multiple products, initially working on Covantis QuickDocs, an AI-powered product for shipping and trade document verification.
- Work with a Product Manager and Designer to understand business cases and user needs and shape solutions.
- Collaborate with developers to build solutions that automate or digitalize supply chain operations.
- Participate in technical design discussions and produce technical documentation and ADRs.
- Build web-application back-end and front-end features.
- Deliver code to production using CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including testing, bug fixing, code reviews, deployments, and incident response.
- Help other product teams with challenging cases or tight deadlines when needed.
