Requirements

  • Bring solid experience in data security and privacy governance roles on enterprise data platforms.
  • Have hands-on policy implementation experience, not policy-writing experience alone.
  • Have experience implementing data classification, dynamic masking, and row-access or row-level security on a modern cloud data warehouse; Snowflake is preferred.
  • Have experience designing or contributing to column-level lineage across multi-layer data pipelines.
  • Have working knowledge of data privacy and access-governance practices in a regulated industry, such as financial services or healthcare.
  • Be comfortable leading classification and masking design during a design-validation phase.
  • Be fluent in English at C1 level for direct engagement with client stakeholders and gate reviews.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric/OneLake governance boundaries alongside Snowflake is a plus.
  • Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services data governance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with limiting AI-assisted development tools to metadata or aggregate access, not raw sensitive values, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sensitive-data classification across source-system tables and dimension values.
  • Design dynamic data masking and row-access policies for sensitive financial fields, scoped by role and business unit.
  • Define raw-versus-curated access tiers and a least-privilege access model across the data platform.
  • Design auditable column-level lineage across data layers, the semantic model, and consuming reports.
  • Support master data management efforts to standardize key business metric definitions across the platform.
  • Implement policy objects and tags in the platform, and deliver versioned, documented classification and lineage artifacts in client-controlled repositories.
  • Partner with client Security, Privacy, and Compliance teams to secure design approval and resolve sensitive-data network and identity boundary questions.
  • Support integration of classification and lineage artifacts into the client's enterprise catalog and governance tooling.
