Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in labor planning or capacity planning, preferably within warehousing, fulfillment, logistics, or e-commerce environments.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to work confidently with large or complex datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and practical experience with SQL.
- Familiarity with Power BI; experience with Python is a plus.
- Ability to build and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for operational and business stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when reconciling data across multiple systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across operations and cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working evening hours in India, primarily around 6 PM to 3 AM IST, to maintain overlap with US-based teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess current and projected labor capacity across fulfillment centers to optimize staffing for cost efficiency and service-level performance.
- Maintain and continuously improve staff planning models across multiple facilities.
- Build, update, and manage labor planning tools and dashboards using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Conduct analytical simulations and reconcile information from multiple systems to validate labor models and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with operations stakeholders, process managers, and implementation teams to align labor plans with operational requirements.
- Support peak-season labor planning and strategic initiatives related to network expansion and capacity management.
- Develop centralized reporting solutions that provide reliable data and enable informed operational planning.
- Translate complex operational and workforce data into actionable insights and recommendations.
