Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 15 years of experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Expertise in heavy industrial engineering projects (oil & gas, chemicals, steel, power generation).
- Proven experience in leadership roles managing engineering and design teams.
- Experience developing resources and implementing work share with engineering centers.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, SKM, and ETAP.
- Proficiency in MS Office products and document control systems.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to excel in a team environment.
- Ability to travel domestically occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, organize, direct and review all electrical resources and activities.
- Provide enhanced customer support as a technical liaison and support business development.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for department staff.
- Develop and implement engineering policies, technical standards, and departmental operational plans.
- Research and evaluate emerging engineering design software and digital tools for improved efficiency.
- Supervise the preparation of engineering proposals, scopes of work, and project cost estimates.
- Review project financials and assist in the development of mitigation and corrective action plans.
- Promote safety culture through active engagements and compliance audits.
