Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- 2–4+ years of experience leading teams as an Engineering Manager, Team Lead, or equivalent.
- Strong full-stack engineering background in the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and React/Next.js.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs.
- Experience running production workloads on a major cloud platform (AWS preferred).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery workflows.
- Proven track record of implementing or maturing Scrum/Agile practices.
- Experience delivering production software in a SaaS or web platform environment.
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams and own sprint planning, execution, and delivery quality.
- Partner with product and design stakeholders to translate roadmap priorities into executable plans.
- Establish and refine Scrum/Agile processes, including backlog grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Provide technical leadership and review architecture designs, critical code paths, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Champion AI adoption across the software development lifecycle and evaluate AI tooling for team productivity.
- Manage, coach, and develop software engineers through regular 1:1s and performance feedback.
- Drive engineering quality metrics such as DORA metrics to identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks.
