Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of U.S.-based clinical residency training.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics, Pediatric Endocrinology, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, Medical Genetics, or related discipline.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary clinical development teams.
- Demonstrated experience developing and reviewing clinical protocols, study manuals, and safety documents.
- Strong attention to detail with adherence to rigorous document quality standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced biotechnology environment.
- Preferred: Industry experience in clinical development for rare diseases or endocrinology.
- Preferred: Prior experience in Phase 2/3 clinical studies and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Serve as internal Medical Monitor and provide oversight of medical monitoring activities for ongoing studies.
- Ensure study activities are conducted in accordance with clinical governance, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review study data including subject eligibility, protocol deviations, adverse events, and safety outcomes.
- Serve as Clinical Development Team Lead for programs in rare bone disease, driving strategy and cross-functional collaboration.
- Author, review, and approve study-level documents such as protocols, monitoring plans, investigator materials, and clinical study reports.
- Drive resolution of issues related to study conduct, enrollment, data quality, and protocol implementation.
- Represent the company at regulatory, scientific, and investigator meetings.
