Requirements
- Non-trivial production experience with Python including async, testing, and error handling.
- Proven experience building and deploying web services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Comfortable with Linux terminal, Git workflows, shell scripting, and SSH.
- Proficient in SQL including writing queries, joins, and understanding indexes.
- Demonstrated intellectual honesty and a strong growth mindset.
- Experience with vector databases or RAG technologies like Weaviate, pgvector, or Pinecone is a plus.
- Experience with agentic frameworks like CrewAI, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP and IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain chunking pipelines for French court decisions.
- Optimize Weaviate integration and embedding strategies for large-scale semantic search.
- Build RAG components including retrieval, reranking, and LLM orchestration.
- Create evaluation infrastructure to enable domain experts to measure output accuracy.
- Ship 3-5 features within the first month of engagement.
