Requirements
- Solid experience in software engineering with Java 17+ and Spring 3.x ecosystem.
- Practical experience in Artificial Intelligence applied to software engineering.
- Strong understanding of agile development best practices and code quality standards.
- Proven knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub).
- Experience with Cloud concepts (GCP or Azure).
- Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or DB2.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing, code quality tools, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Jira, 42crunch).
- Understanding of distributed systems: synchronous (REST/Feign) and asynchronous communication, idempotency, retry/circuit breaker patterns, and eventual consistency.
- Strong analytical skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to thrive in dynamic, innovative environments.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the software delivery transformation lifecycle through advanced engineering, agile development, and AI-driven automation.
- Execute the decommissioning of legacy COBOL platforms while modernizing underlying code and architecture.
- Implement and maintain engineering best practices to ensure high-quality and operational efficiency.
- Define and evolve backend architecture using Java/Spring, microservices, and messaging integrated with AI resources.
- Guide teams in unit testing, test automation, and comprehensive code reviews.
- Conduct technical analyses and align architectural/functional decisions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
