Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, ML, or analytical AI.
- Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, data science, machine learning, or AI.
- Current knowledge of the Generative AI and LLM landscape (commercial and open source).
- Expertise in model selection, training, fine-tuning, and efficacy metrics.
- Knowledge of MLOps, bias management, and IP considerations.
- Experience with cloud hosting options and related economics.
- Proficiency in multi-modal AI (text, NLP, voice, images, video).
- Experience with AI-enabled software engineering.
- Proven experience as a lead or senior scientist in tech or consulting.
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner from home.
Responsibilities
- Work with technology companies to identify improvements of existing technology, organizations, processes, and tools used to develop software products and services.
- Perform technical due diligence for private equity firms to assess technology strengths, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement solutions from scratch, including Agile methodology transformations.
- Guide and mentor junior software developers and engineers.
- Drive AI assessment efforts and create technical risk reports for investors.
- Collaborate with internal and client technical leads to drive projects to successful completion.
