Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (vanilla)
- Expert-level knowledge of React
- Expert-level knowledge of SASS development
- Expert-level knowledge of JSON and RESTful APIs
- Expert-level knowledge of Gulp workflows
- Expert-level knowledge of Git and version control best practices
- Experience with cross-browser/device testing and debugging
- Experience translating design files (Figma, Sketch) into code
- Experience with frontend performance tuning and optimization
- Ability to write clean, readable documentation
- Familiarity with ES6/ES7, NPM, Bower, accessibility (a11y), and SEO
Responsibilities
- Translate project requirements and designs into functional, maintainable frontend code
- Scope, estimate, and manage your own tasks to meet agreed timelines
- Integrate with backend APIs and third-party services
- Produce high-quality, reusable code with attention to maintainability and performance
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility through rigorous testing and debugging
- Implement responsive UI/UX using HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript (vanilla)
- Use Gulp workflows and Git version control effectively within a collaborative codebase
- Collaborate with the wider delivery team to ensure alignment on goals and timelines
- Proactively identify and resolve frontend issues or technical blockers
- Document frontend solutions to support ongoing maintenance and handovers
