Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in engineering, solution architecture, or technical delivery leadership.
- Proven experience delivering distributed, event-driven, cloud-native, and highly scalable systems.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud architecture.
- Deep understanding of microservices, Domain-Driven Design, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Event Hubs, Service Bus).
- Advanced expertise in cloud computing, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring practices.
- Understanding of software architecture design patterns including MVC.
- Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with ARM templates, Bicep, Go, Ansible, and Python is advantageous.
- Experience with ML/AI solutions or GenAI enablement platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and delivery of complex projects across CPQ, digital commerce, cloud, data, and AI environments.
- Own end-to-end execution of multi-team programs, establishing delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
- Lead Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness.
- Provide technical oversight across architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production.
- Guide engineering teams working with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, AWS, PostgreSQL, Redis, and distributed systems.
- Define architecture documentation standards using practices such as C4 models.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, scalability, and security through technical reviews and coaching.
- Establish CI/CD, observability, and DevSecOps practices using tools like SonarQube, Snyk, and Datadog.
- Mentor engineers, support onboarding, and drive adoption of AI coding assistants and GenAI engineering platforms.
