Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manual and semi-automated testing of web-based applications.
- 2+ years of practical experience with API testing (authentication flows, error handling, request/response validation).
- Previous experience testing payment systems, transactional workflows, and third-party integrations.
- Experience with responsive design testing, browser developer tools, and network analysis.
- Practical knowledge of Postman, Chrome DevTools, Swagger, and test management tools (e.g., TestRail or Xray).
- Solid understanding of frontend and backend architecture, REST APIs, and session management.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong analytical and investigative skills to break down complex technical problems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first team within Central European Time (CET) hours.
Responsibilities
- Investigate customer-reported bugs, technical issues, and product incidents from initial report through final resolution.
- Reproduce reported issues, identify potential root causes, and gather necessary technical and business context.
- Analyze application logs, API requests, database records, and historical support tickets to understand product behavior.
- Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and Business Analysts to resolve issues.
- Take ownership of assigned support cases and perform follow-ups with stakeholders.
- Distinguish between software defects, configuration issues, and expected product behavior.
- Validate bug fixes and conduct regression testing to confirm no new issues are introduced.
- Produce clear, comprehensive bug reports with reproduction steps and impact assessments.
- Contribute to process improvements for QA and troubleshooting workflows.
