Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, building, and deploying data engineering solutions.
- Proven experience in migrating large data warehouses to BigQuery.
- Expertise in BigQuery and practical experience with Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience in building and maintaining Data Lake/Data Warehouse solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to design scalable cloud architectures and lead technical projects with clients.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation, DevOps, and CI/CD processes.
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification.
- Fluent in English (B2 level).
- Availability for business travel to Germany 1-2 times per month.
- German language skills are preferred.
- Experience in technical consulting is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL tuning and cost optimization is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data solutions using Google Cloud Platform.
- Lead data warehouse migration projects, specifically from Snowflake to BigQuery.
- Develop and maintain high-performance batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Build and secure scalable Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments on GCP.
- Architect enterprise-level cloud solutions and support the full data lifecycle.
- Automate infrastructure and manage CI/CD and DevOps processes.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and developers on complex projects.
