Requirements
- High school diploma.
- FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) certification required; SAR is preferred.
- Two years of experience in pre-fund and post-close quality control credit reviews.
- Strong working knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Government Lending practices and guidelines.
- Proficiency in Ellie Mae Encompass and Encompass LOS.
- Knowledge of Inco Check’s QC Ally.
- Adept with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
- Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner.
Responsibilities
- Complete detailed file reviews of the AUS, credit, income, assets and collateral on pre-fund and post-funded loans.
- Determine if underwriters correctly calculated and approved loans in accordance with agency, investor and company policies.
- Document DKMC’s system of record with all audit information.
- Notify applicable department managers of any defects found and manage pipelines for timely responses.
- Remain current with policy changes from agencies, investors, and internal company policies.
- Review early payment default loans to identify root causes of default.
- Assist with state audits and other assigned projects as determined by the Quality Control Manager.
