Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on IBM Datacap experience, specifically with version 9.x/9.1.x.
- Strong proficiency in Datacap Studio development and Rulerunner administration.
- Extensive experience developing Datacap rulesets, workflows, and custom processing components.
- Deep understanding of document capture, OCR, intelligent document processing, and validation/verification processes.
- Proven experience with enterprise-level Datacap administration and production troubleshooting.
- Strong integration skills with databases and enterprise systems using SQL, REST APIs, and SOAP.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and IIS.
- Experience working in Agile application or product development environments.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across technical and business teams.
- Experience with IBM FileNet P8 and IBM Content Navigator (preferred).
- Proficiency in C#/.NET for custom Datacap actions (preferred).
- Familiarity with federal IT environments, NIST, FISMA, and DevSecOps practices (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain IBM Datacap applications, including rulesets, workflows, document hierarchies, and validation rules.
- Optimize OCR, document recognition, classification, data extraction, and image processing capabilities.
- Administer and troubleshoot Datacap environments (Server, Rulerunner, Studio, Navigator) across development and production.
- Develop reusable components and custom actions using C#/.NET, Java, and JavaScript.
- Integrate document-processing capabilities with enterprise platforms such as IBM FileNet P8 and IBM Content Navigator.
- Collaborate in Agile product engineering cycles from requirements analysis to deployment and production support.
